Garage Bands. Those were the days I tell you. Lone gone are the days where you recorded a crappy audio tape and sent it to a record label hoping for a response. How this was even done in the past seems unimagineable. Today you fire up your software, create your song, master it, hit render and send a near completely product to the label. It's even gotten to the point where due to the fact that small lables don't have the funding, a lot of the responsibility of sound stays with the artist. On the one hand that's of course great because you have more control over it. On the other hand, maybe you don't want that much control or better yet, you just don't have the energy to learn the job of a producer and artist at the same time.
It seems some people have taken on this extra set of responsibilities on without a problem. I personally hate the fact that I have to master things. I like it raw and it seems I'm always looking for someone who can put the final touch on my productions to make it stand out as much as I think it deserves to.
If you're a guy like me that just likes to make music and share their work with the rest of the world, then perhaps this site is for you. If you're on a perpetual journey of exploration and creativity, never standing still then you may just have come to the right place. Don't be shy, check out my blog, the forum, the picture galleries and of course, my music. It can be found in the music player located on the tracks page, but you'll also see me posting most current tracks on the blog.
